“These are fantastic. Makes me feel like I’m in a 70s film being chased by some Turkish badmen. Super groovy. A real mover for the dancefloor!” - Cosmo Baker / The Rub, NYC

Download audio file (Disco Mutante.mp3)

Download audio file (Disco Mutante (Ilya Santana Italian Outbreak Mix) 1.mp3)

“Both mixes should hit the sweet spot of every sincere Disco Lover – Kano on steroids !!! Will stay in my box 4 a long time!” - Black Alley

“Awesome pack! Lovin’ both, Iiya Santana’s mix is fuckinnnn huge! Will play!” - Bicep

“Love both tracks. It’s really difficult to pick a favorite. I will play them both a lot.
Right in time for the summer!” - Mutant Disco

“It’d be hard to ignore Traveller Records latest signing Rayko, who’s outstanding production and edits are crate and floor fillers for a lot of Dj’s at the moment, including myself! Definitely a cat to keep your eye on for sure. In fact I heard a great quote from a friend the other day too “When in doubt, play Rayko!”. Strong praise indeed. Perfect Italo tinged disco!” - BlackLodge Music

“Brand new 12″ from Traveller Records, hot on the heels of the boogie masterclass that was Alphabet City, comes Rayko to school you in nu-italo recreation. This is chuggy Moroderish dancefloor stuff of the highest order – watch the crowd dissapear into the tunnel from the beginning titles of 70s/80s Dr.Who – and fall out the other side into the Tomorrows World studio!” - Phonica Records

“Ilya Santana mix is the one for us, great feel to it and should work well on the dance floor here in Melbourne!” - Fromage Disco

“Harold Faltermeyer gone all dark disco for the Italo connoisseur!” - Leftside Wobble

“The Traveller Records guys have done it again with the sublime funk of Alphabet City’s Turn Me Up and Lowdown. I wish this was the soundtrack for every day. These songs really are incredible. Amazing work…” - Cosmo Baker / The Rub, NYC

“Awesome 2 tracker from the Traveller Camp! Some serious 80’s inspired Roller-Boogie House vibes on this one… Perfect for dancefloors that dig the “Funk”.If you like it Synth & Drum machine heavy then this one’s for you! For fans of Dam-Funk, 80’s Boogie, PPU & all that other good stuff! Don’t miss it… killer!” - Phonica Records

“Really like this. Soulful instrumental head nod music.” - Rob Luis / Tru Thoughts

“Love this.” - Mutant Disco

“Awesome house music that will stand the test of time, Alphabet City is sure to be big in 2010.” - Cottam

“Wicked release!” - DJ Asparagus / Raw Fusion, G.A.M.M.

“Excellent debut from the ‘Lodge – there’s some sort of Detroit – NY- Detroit boogie-down convention happening here, and everyone’s invited. My advice – go along and check out the talent.” - All Out War

“AMAZING. Love it” - Jon Kennedy / Organik Recordings

“Lovely Production, “Turn Me Up” is an absolute winner!” - Steve Lee / The Project Club

“Love both tracks! Very cool release.” - Rayko / Rare Wiri Records

“Really nice tracks !! I especially like “Lowdown”, it has a great 80’s boogie echoes feeling !!” - LTJ Experience

“Really cool release again from Traveller! Perfect soundtrack for the upcoming summer!” - Roberto Rodriguez

“Both solid tracks and excellent first release. Pick of the two for me is “Turn Me Up”. Heavy synths and a killer slo mo beat – perfect recipe for a beatdown banger. Keep em coming, and always watch out for low hanging power lines when pole fishing.” - NYSoul / Wolf Music

“In early 2008, seven artists employed by Fat Beats New York decided to form a rap group. We call ourselves the Brown Bag AllStars. Every day we sell records to customers who want good, honest music. We figured we knew enough about the subject to make it ourselves. We were right. Our roster is like a 40 oz. A-Team. We’ve got Audible Doctor, rapper, producer, and Fat Beats manager; J57, rapper, beatsmith and assistant-manager; Koncept, rapper and ultimate bar fight champion; Soul Khan, rapper and pornosseur; E Holla, dj, father, and FatBeats.com webmaster; Element, dj and man of relaxed expectations; and Goo, a dj and genius mixing engineer. Our numbers are great, but our energy on stage is unlike anything else in New York today. We will bring the same spirit and liveliness to any stage we step on that we have shown at packed venues throughout New York City. What began as a bunch of drunk dudes running Fat Beats became one of the brightest prospects in the independent hip hop scene. We don’t believe in VIP sections. Everybody is welcome at a Brown Bag AllStar party. We hope you enjoy it.”
